MPG members flew out to Houston Texas to perform at the International Culture Night at the Hermann Park Conservancy. We had fun making connections with the Japanese community in Houston, including the Houston-based taiko group Kaminari Taiko. We also got to play on a set of taiko drums hand-crafted by Aska-Gumi, a premiere taiko ensemble in Japan!
